Day 268: A Mind is a Terrible Thing to Waste (REALLY)

A-mind-is-a-terrrible-thing-to-waste-ReallyIf a mind is a terrible thing to waste, then why do we deal with it, in rape, murder and war, we rob and steal with it, then turn around and blame somebody else that did it, instead of taking responsibility for it, we live with it, as if all of a sudden the mind will clean up its own mess, why’ll we consume ourselves with wondering who’s the best at winning, don’t start thinking until I’m finish, it’s a waste of time, the mind and the way we diminish ourselves with limitations, restrictions and law, then we pray in thinking a higher power will come and solve it all.

Why haven’t we realized over the years, that nothing will ever change, until we stop the washing and start using our brains, I’m saying, if a mind is a terrible thing to waste, why don’t we stop running and turn around and face ourselves, our creation, what we’ve accepted and allowed, Right Now, today, in this moment, not tomorrow, that’s because we believe and think the mind is who we are, well if it is then explain to yourself thus far, why we abuse one another, the animal kingdom and nature, with a blatant disregard for life, using the words that “I hate you”? WHY, is it because it doesn’t suit our self-interest of making money, to feed our greed, this is ridiculous.

If you think a mind is a terrible thing to waste, then you’re definitely brainwashed, and have been erased (and given a thought): from all you ever knew, in which you would’ve seen and realized the truth about life, and all of its saving grace, instead of thinking that a mind is a terrible thing to waste.

If a mind is a terrible thing to waste then why does it have to be said, better yet why do we follow around the voices in our heads, telling us to act and/or react to what we see, what to feel and what to say and who should we be?

If a mind is a terrible thing to waste then why do we have crime, why do we have jails, prisons and people doing time, that have no idea why things are this way, why did they have to struggle and do things in disgrace, of themselves their families as a means to survive, why do we accept and allow our mind to destroy so many lives, and think that it’s a waste if we’re not thinking all the time, I mean we blame everything else, instead of seeing that it’s our mind, that’s been directing our every move/words/ways/deeds and actions, with emotions and feeling that we call our passion, not realizing what just happen, and why this world is a mess up place, all because we think the mind is a terrible thing to waste.

If you’ve ever wasted time, then you can surely waste the mind and wake up and realize that you’ve been blind, like I have and saw my mistake, then committed myself to changing my ways, from trusting to thinking and believing in the mind to directing myself and no longer wasting time, It’s fine, I understand that this is a preprogramed design, that’s why I am investigating myself, because I saw the signs.

So if you still think a mind is a terrible thing to waste, then take a step back and look at this place, then look in the mirror and look at your face and realize the mind is not who you are, it’s a waste of space.

For a little history about this slogan; In 1972, the UNCF (United Negro College Fund) adopted as its motto the maxim “A mind is a terrible thing to waste.” This maxim has become one of the most widely recognized slogans in advertising history.[10] The motto, which has been used in numerous award-winning UNCF ad campaigns, was created by Forest Long, of the advertising agency Young & Rubicam, in partnership with the Ad Council.[11]

And from my perspective it’s still bullshit, Thanks for reading.
